“Kieran and his team are top notch professionals and if you are wondering who you should hire, stop here and hire Broad Oaks Construction. Kieran worked with me and my architect to completely redo my primary bathroom down to the studs. We were able to capture extra space, add a motorized skylight and make the bathroom feel twice as big. He is comfortable working with all budgets and has worked with high-end designers in San Francisco, so he was able to bring that knowledge to my project even though I did not hire a designer myself. My bathroom included a custom white oak floating vanity with a marble top, white Fireclay tile throughout the shower, and custom mirrors with mounted lights. He is flexible, extremely responsive and cares about the details as much as I do. His crew is also kind, clean and considerate. If you hire Kieran you won’t be disappointed”

He was always available for any and all questions and really helped us form the vision for our remodel. “Kieran recently completed a kitchen and bath remodel for us. He gutted and completely redid both rooms. From start to finish, Kieran was easy to work with. He showed up on time or early for every meeting and was well prepared with the right questions to ask to guide us through the process. When we had some delays that were outside of his control (eg cabinets not being delivered on time), he worked overtime to get us back on track so that we could still finish the project on time. We got multiple bids for our project and his came in around the middle, but unlike other contractors he didn't try to increase his profit with frivolous change orders. I came to Kieran with a fixed budget that I knew was not enough to cover everything that I wanted to do. “Kieran performed an extensive basement remodel that involved floor level changes, new heater system, plumbing, rewiring, sheet rocking and floor finishing. On another job for me he replaced a large 5' by 10' custom Douglas fir window on the second floor of a Victorian shingle house.

Kieren always maintains a high quality level in his work. He is resourceful, excellent at planning, and very rigorous at maintaining schedule. He also has access to good, skilled workers in multiple disciplines.

He also maintains very good communications with the client, responding to questions promptly and explaining the steps of the job.

“Kieran has done several projects for us.  In every case his work was done efficiently, with great results.  Kieran is also very neat in his work and never leaves a mess (something that was important to me).  In all cases we were very pleased with the finished project as well as the process of working with Kieran.  

Our projects included:

• New flooring in the kitchen, dining room, and entry hallway.  In all three areas we had  25-year old oak flooring that Kieran removed and replaced with new cherry flooring

• Cabinet work and appliance upgrades in the kitchen

• Complete master bedroom/bath remodel for us, which included a re-layout of the plumbing, new vanity/tub/toilet, and new bamboo flooring in the bathroom, shelving/cabinet for the TV above the fireplace in the bedroom, new doors and hardware, updated lighting, and general refresh in the room  

• replaced siding on the outside of the house, which is cedar.

Kieran's good at keeping a project on schedule without sacrificing quality in the final result.  He's good at planning and implementing. 

One of the things that matters most to me when I'm doing projects is the character of the person handling the work who is in my home every day.  Kieran's a very good combination of someone who does excellent work that you really enjoy having around  the house.  He's also a good listener.  He has a great team and great subs, he's creative, he has good instincts about the work, he's neat and tidy in his work, and he's always willing to help out when he can.  "No Problem" is his favorite response.  

 I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again myself.”

“Kieran and his team did several renovation projects for us shortly after we moved into our apartment:
1) Home Theater. Opened up holes in our living room walls and ran channels to support in-wall surround sound speakers / in-wall wiring for our home entertainment system and then drywalled and repainted.
2) Medicine cabinet installation and assorted work in our master bathroom.
3) Backsplash tile installation in our kitchen.

Fantastic work on all fronts - projects came in within initial estimates, which were competitive, and we've had no problems with any of the work several years later. Kieran was an outstanding communicator, prompt, and professional, which was critical during the home theater remodel since we had to pivot the project a few times after cutting into the walls and finding non-standard studs in unusual places.
